At the end of 5th grade, selected students in Manhasset Schools are invited to participate in the 6th grade advanced math program. 

 

• A double accelerated math course that teaches 7th and 8th grade math content during the 6th grade. 

• These students continue onto 9th grade math (Algebra I) in the 7th grade so that they are two years ahead of a traditional math program.

Only students from the advanced math program are able to reach the highest level math course in Manhasset Secondary School, which is multivariable calculus.
